Today, the district announced that we will transition to full virtual learning for Wednesday, January 6th - Friday, January 8th.

As always, our teachers are working hard to transition their instructional plans to accommodate these most recent changes.  Remote learning will occur through a combination of Zoom virtual instruction and independent work through Google classroom.  Over the next two days, students will be reviewing the remote learning expectations with their classroom teachers before we head into break.

Remote Learning Guidance and Expectations: Each student will need to sign into Google using their sumnerk12 account.  Daily expectations may include students logging on to their Google Classroom to view, complete, and/or turn in assignments, as well as to attend scheduled Zoom meetings.  Your student’s Google login will be as follows:

Username:  Student ID (7 digit number)

Password: Student’s Birthday (MMDDYYYY)

Please contact your child’s teacher if you do not know their student number.

Technology Device and Internet Access Concerns: We are very limited in our ability to loan devices to families, but we do want to survey the current needs in our community so we can provide assistance where we are able.  If you have a technology device need or have unreliable access to high-speed internet currently, please complete the following survey by Friday December 18, 2020:

***You must be logged in to your child's sumnerk12 account to access the survey. It can also be accessed from their teacher's Google Classroom under a Topic labeled "Remot Learning - January 6-8, 2021.***

Note: Devices will only be loaned out if the virtual learning experience is extended beyond January 8th.
