Dear Parents/Guardians,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new principal of Millersville Elementary School.  I have been a part of the Sumner County Schools for fourteen years.  My educational work experience includes teaching fifth grade at Benny Bills Elementary, middle school math instructor at RT Fisher, and assistant basketball coach at Joe Shafer Middle School.  Most recently, I worked as an assistant principal at Hendersonville High School overseeing the Career and Technical Education Department.

It is my desire to continue to build upon the positive environment that has been established here at Millersville Elementary and to continue to offer quality instruction to each and every student.  My goal is that every student at Millersville Elementary reaches their maximal potential, not only in the classroom but also in the community and in life

During the 2016-17 school year, I hope that we can work together to provide our students the best opportunities our school district has to offer.  In order to achieve this, it is important that every parent, teacher, and support staff encourage and support our students in their efforts to achieve their academic goals.

Through a close community partnership with everyone associated with Millersville Elementary, I believe we can make this school year one of the best school years your child has experienced.
