School–Home Compact 2025–2026
What is a School-Home Compact?
A School–Home Compact is an agreement that families, students, and teachers develop together. It explains how families and teachers will work together to make sure all students reach or exceed grade-level standards.

Our Goals for Student Achievement
District Goals
- Sumner County Schools will increase ELA proficiency on TCAP in grades 3–5 by spring 2026.
- Sumner County Schools will increase Math proficiency on TCAP in grades 3–5 by spring 2026.
MES Goals
Millersville Elementary administrators and teachers have studied our student achievement data to determine the most important areas for improvement.
- By 2026, MES students will make a 5% (or more) gain in scores achieving either On Track or Mastered on the ELA TCAP.
- By 2026, MES students will make a 5% (or more) gain in scores achieving either On Track or Mastered on the Math TCAP.
- MES students will attend school regularly. We will decrease our absenteeism rate by >5 points for the 2025–2026 school year.
